PwC read a billion job ads. The split isn't where anyone told you.
PwC's 2026 Global AI Jobs Barometer read over a billion job ads across 27 countries. The market didn't split into "AI jobs" and "non-AI jobs." It split two other ways.
Track 1: democratised
AI makes the job easy enough that a non-expert can do it. Nothing about you got worse. The fence around you came down.
Track 2: professionalised
AI clears the routine work. Your judgement is what's left. Twice the job growth. 42% faster salary growth.
The actual question
Not "can AI do my job?", but "does AI make my job easy for someone who's never done it?"
Run it on our world
Template assembly, straight transcription, basic shot-matching = track 1. Choosing the take, setting a look, saving a bad location recording = track 2.
The honest limit
PwC's winning examples are radiologists and recruiters. It says nothing about crew. This is a test, not a promise.
