I didn't have the sentence either

Your next client already has that number. Here's how you quote against it.

Google released Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash on 27 August. AI video generation now has a published list price, billed by the second of output.

The published list price

Which is $6 a minute

Nine dollars at 1080p. Eighteen at 4K. That's the number that's going to get quoted at you, and pretending it isn't real doesn't help you.

But price the whole job, not the render

Ten cents buys one second of output. It does not buy the twelve versions before the one that works, and nobody's list price includes the taste that picks it.

Stop quoting the deliverable

A per-second price makes "one 60-second video" a commodity. Quote the decisions instead: the brief, the passes, the revisions, the approval, the delivery.

The sentence to have ready

"Generation is the cheap part. You're paying me for the version that works." Say it before the client says the number, not after.

The render has a list price now

Your judgement doesn't.
